25583 Summary Lincoln Electric is seeking a Mechanical Engineer forour Mentor, OH plant. The Mechanical Engineer with be a part of thePlant Engineering team. This team helps implements capital projectsand provides engineering support for the Consumable and Machinedivisions of the Cleveland Operations. Mechanical engineers areresponsible for the mechanical aspects of the projects includingfacilities preparation, equipment designs and equipmentinstallations. They also provide support for production and work onimprovements to the existing equipment and facilities to improvehealth and safety, productivity, quality, and cost. What You Will Do:

Work in a team, hands on, environmenton capital and strategic projects for the Cleveland Operationproduction facilities. Responsible for the mechanical aspects ofthe projects including facilities preparation, equipment design andequipment installation. Work on engineering solutions to improveequipment reliability and safety, lower operational and maintenancecosts, and improve ergonomics. Engineer solutions that comply withISO 14001 and EHS initiatives to improve the environmental &employee health & safety. Interface with all engineering,manufacturing and maintenance departments along with R D, QA,and Supply Management to ensure accuracy of project design targetdetails. Provide technical support to Production and Maintenancedepartments. Work with and often manage outside engineering andconstruction personnel. Ensure all safety, health, environmental,and compliance aspects for the project meet the appropriateregulations. Additional responsibilities as assigned by managerswithin the Plant Engineering department. Required Education &Experience Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering. Minimum of 3years professional experience: Level II Engineer Minimum of 5 yearsprofessional experience: Level III Engineer Must have goodjudgment, be self-motivated and be safety conscious. Strong desireto take ownership and drive results. Ability to handle a variety ofassignments and changing priorities. Ability to perform hands onwork as required and work effectively on the shop floor withemployees and processes. Ability to handle small to medium sizedprojects and day-to-day shop support with supervision. Experiencewith Solid Edge CAD modelling software is preferred. Knowledge of

ISO 9001, ISO
