Overview The Opportunity Carlson Design Group is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Mechanical-Engineering Associate II to join our engineering team to be a part of our expanding business. You will work from the designs of others under supervision and perform routine and limited design assignments using prescribed methods. Full-time employee on the path to licensure, works under the direction of others, participates in the development of design solutions, provides technical design support to the team, prepares systems design concepts and Construction Documents in compliance with project program and building design at the direction of the lead engineer. Additionally, coordinates designs with other disciplines, manufacturers and vendors, performs field surveys and observations in concert with the lead engineer, responsible for completeness and accuracy of construction documents and coordination with other disciplines . Qualifications To qualify for the role, you must have Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering degree. Minimum of three years of related experience in a design firm. Competency in Revit required. Ideally, you’ll also have Excellent communication and written skills. Exceptional Organization skills as well as being detail oriented. The ability to be flexible and time management skills.
