Keystone Engineering is currently seeking a Lead Mechanical Engineer to join our Metairie team.

Essential Functions:

Lead Engineer will coordinate and assign project scope, manage budget schedule, status, and technical interface issues.
Provide leadership for the mechanical engineering team and be a resource within the multi-disciplinary teams. Oversee engineering calculation checking, analyses, and other tasks using prescribed methods and procedures.
Organize and lead weekly meetings with clients to update, discuss, and review project needs. Interface with project managers and clients per schedule and team demands.
Assist with project control documentation as required, including project design and material/equipment procurement.
Review or prepare specifications detailing performance requirements, design data, applicable codes/standards, and vendor drawing requirements.

Requirements:

B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
7+ years of relevant industry experience.
Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.)
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Self-motivated, organized, and solution advocate.
Attention to detail.
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer.

Experience Preferred:

Experience delivering engineering solutions for refining, upstream production, and midstream facilities.
Expertise in pipe stress analysis using

CAESAR II.

Strong hydraulics and fluid dynamics background.
