Immediate Responsibilities:

Leads and isaccountable for projects and drives results (supports equipment).Provide technical direction and leadership across site/regions todrive/lead best practices and continuous improvement projects, keepabreast of new technology, and develop innovative solutions. Be asubject matter expert on HLA/system integration. Understandmanufacturing and test equipment concepts, technologies, andtechniques and how to apply them to improve quality and efficiency.

Carries out process improvement and problem resolution projectsPerforms research, design, and development of manufacturingprocesses including production flow, assembly methods, andproduction equipment – applying knowledge of product design,fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials, partnering withmanufacturing teams. Supports the manufacturing launch ofnew/revised products including establishing goals, training teammembers and evaluating results. Represent the Operationsorganization as the prime technical contact on electro-mechanicaldevice projects. Interacts with senior level internal and externalpersonnel on significant technical matters often requiringcoordination between organizations Represent the organization asthe prime technical contact on projects. Interacts with seniorlevel external personnel on significant technical matters oftenrequiring coordination between organizations.

Requirements:

Minimum4 years experience in a design for manufacturability role, workingwith production teams for pilot builds to support designverification, transfer manufacturing processes from R D tofactory associates and engineering teams for medical devices 2years of experience with design transfer from R D tomanufacturing 2 years of related working experience in HLA/Systemintegration. Knowledge and ability to implement FDA or regulatoryrequirements as necessary.
