| KCMO A power solutions manufacturer is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to design and develop mechanical systems for innovative energy products. You will use 3D CAD tools to create technical drawings, conduct experiments to optimize performance, and mentor junior engineers while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure manufacturable solutions. Anticipate $105K-$115K base salary

KCMO Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop mechanical systems using 3D CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, Inventor), applying principles like mechanics, thermodynamics, and heat transfer.
Create detailed models, technical drawings, and BOMs for manufacturing.
Conduct research, feasibility studies, and validation testing to ensure product performance and reliability.
Collaborate with electrical, software, R D, production, and sales teams to deliver integrated solutions.
Mentor junior engineers, promoting engineering best practices and continuous improvement.
Ensure designs meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
Support production and troubleshooting with technical guidance.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
5+ years (preferably 10) of mechanical engineering experience in product development.
Proficiency in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks or Inventor) and BOM/ERP systems.
Strong knowledge of mechanical and building codes.
Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
Experience in cross-functional collaboration and mentoring.
Professional Engineering (PE) license is a plus. EEO Compensation $105K – $115K Job # 1054
