We are seeking a skilled and driven Mechanical R&D Engineer to join their growing team. In this role, you will contribute to the development of next-generation automotive service solutions through innovative design and testing.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and test new products for the automotive service industry Select appropriate parts, materials, and manufacturing processes to achieve reliable and cost-effective designs Validate product concepts through analysis and testing, including design of test fixtures and instrumentation as needed Create designs using CAD software (Creo preferred), including sheet metal, weldments, machined parts, castings, plastics, sensors, and electronics Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to meet project deliverables Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering 8+ years of engineering experience Proficient with CAD software (Creo preferred) Strong design experience, including mechanisms, electro-mechanical systems, and materials (sheet metal, castings, machined and molded parts) Self-starter with proactive problem-solving abilities and a collaborative mindset
