Mechanical Engineer Position Available In Guilford, North Carolina

Mechanical Engineers Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop engineering drawing packages using CAD for release to production on numerous product lines.
• Design & validate parts, components, tooling, and fixturing using CAD that fulfill both regulatory & quality requirements.
• Analyze problems or deficiencies & develop effective robust solutions to resolve them.
• Develop & verify technical documentation such as operational manuals, technical support, standard operational procedures, etc.
• Provide technical support to Sales, Service, & Operations
• Specify system components or direct modification of products to ensure conformance with engineering design and performance specifications.
• Support ERP implementation through accurate product BOM management & system integration
• Ability to handle multiple projects, simultaneously and meet agreed upon deadlines and quality standards for deliverables.

Mechanical Engineer Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent
• 3-5 years of prior experience
• Software experience required:

Solid Edge SolidWorks Mechanical Engineer Preferred Qualifications:

• Equipment and machine design
• Sheet metal fabrication
• Experience in design and manufacturing of heavyequipment
• Lean Manufacturing principles and implementation
