Job Description
Position Summary:
- Hydraulics Engineer
- will be responsible for designing, developing and testing oil circulating systems and other lubrication systems for a variety of industrial applications. Be able to take the customer’s specifications and design a system to meet those specifications. Will have a thorough understanding of electrical and mechanical systems and be able to work independently to deliver timely and effective solutions.

- Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical and electrical systems for Oil Circulating Systems (OCS) and other lubrication systems
- Read and interpret electrical and mechanical diagrams, schematics, and blueprints
- Coordinate with other engineers and technicians to ensure proper installation and functionality of Oil Circulating Systems
- Collaboration with maintenance technicians, machine operators, assembly personnel, and other specialized engineering roles
- Perform testing and troubleshooting of Oil Circulating Systems and components
- Provide technical support and guidance to other departments as needed
- Maintain documentation of all Oil Circulating Systems designs, modifications, and repairs
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies
- Frequently interacts with area management, outside customers and functional peer groups across various departments.
- Education and/or Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 3 years in Hydraulic Engineering

Mechanical Engineering Fundamentals:
Strong understanding of mechanical systems, including fluid dynamics, lubrication principles, and machine design

Control Systems Engineering:
Expertise in Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) programming, control logic design, and data acquisition systems

Instrumentation:
Knowledge of various sensors and actuators used in hydraulic systems, including pressure transducers, flow meters, and level gauges

Data Analysis:
Ability to interpret sensor data and identify trends to optimize lubrication strategies

CAD Software:
Proficiency in using CAD software for system design and documentation

Troubleshooting:
Excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve hydraulic systems malfunctions Excellent written and verbal communication skills
