job summary: Our client, a clothes and fabric manufacturer in the Lincoln County, NC area is looking for a Senior R D Engineer. Key qualifications include, 4+ years of R D experience (nonwoven technologies/related industries preferred). A Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Polymer Engineering, Textiles, Chemistry, Material Science or a relevant field is required.

Lincolnton, North Carolina job type: Permanent salary: $90,000 – 105,000 per year work hours: 8am to 4pm education: High School responsibilities: Lead the planning, execution, documentation, and coordination of new product development, collaborating closely with all relevant departments.
Document experimental results and assist with intellectual property applications.
Monitor and track project milestones to ensure timely progress.
Evaluate new product and material applications, and contribute to continuous improvement through raw material qualification.
Serve as the primary contact for Production/Operation for chemical knowledge and assist Sales/Procurement with technical expertise
