Mechanical Engineer Fast growing Architecture company is seekinga Mechanical Engineer. As a Mechanical Engineer II, you have astrong career ambition and expertise in designing and developingmechanical systems for various building types. You will collaboratewith multidisciplinary teams to conduct load analyses, equipmentsizing, and design of ductwork, plumbing, hydronic, and fireprotection systems. Your leadership, technical expertise, andcustomer-focused approach will drive successful project outcomes.
This position requires experience in the mechanical engineering theCommercial building industry Deliver Results Design and analyzemechanical systems, including load calculations, equipment sizing,and hydronic and fire protection systems, consistent with companystandards. Coordinate project documentation, technical components,and cross-disciplinary efforts to avoid conflicts in design anddelivery. Utilize design tools and technology, including Revit andAutoCAD, to prepare detailed models, drawings, and specifications.
Monitor project scope and schedules, providing updates andresolving inconsistencies with the Senior Mechanical Engineer. Leadteam meetings, participate in code compliance reviews, and promotelessons learned for process improvements. Assist in preparingengineering proposals and monitoring project budgets and schedules.
Maintain high client satisfaction and foster positive relationshipswith stakeholders. This is a Direct hire position with a salaryrange of $110,000 – $130,000 based on years of experience of withexcellent benefits, profit sharing and bonus located in CharlotteNC Required Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in MechanicalEngineering from an EAC/ABET-accredited program or equivalent ineducation and experience. Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) withcurrent license OR ability to obtain a
PE. NCEES
registration andNSPE membership preferred. 5 years of experience in mechanicalengineering with diverse project experience. Must have HVAC Systemsexperience in the Commercial Building of Government type buildingarena Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office.
Experience with Project, SharePoint, and Teams preferred. PreferredQualifications CSI-CDT certification (training provided if needed).LEED AP BDC and WELL AP certifications.
