Abilities/Responsibilities:
Lead medium-sized projects (up to $250K) and support larger projects.
Intermediate knowledge of vision, controls, and robotics.
Mentor both interns and new engineers.
Develop customer training materials.
Qualifications:
4-6 years of professional experience with industrial automation technologies
BS degree in an engineering specialty with a preference towards Electrical or Mechanical engineering
Technical Qualifications:
Familiarity with automation brands typically utilized by TAG Solutions including:
Robotics:
Epson, Universal Robots, FANUC Machine Vision:
Cognex, LMI, SICK ,
Teledyne Controls:
Emerson, Allen-Bradley, Siemens Understanding of basic electrical design principles using software applications such as AutoCAD Understanding of basic mechanical design principles using software application such as Fusion 360
Other Qualifications:
A valid driver’s license.
Complete some overnight travel when required at customer sites or training locations, including occasional stays for 3-4 nights. Most work is local or regional, but could be nationwide.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, use hands, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
