Job Description

Electro Mechanical Product Engineer Job Description:
  • Lead Quality, Sustaining & VA/VE Projects Utilizing Product IntroductionRelease Processes
  • Report Project Status Orally as well as thru Presentation & Database Software
  • Maintain & Cost Reduce Existing Electro-Mechanical Product Designs for Security based
Products Utilizing Established Processes:

Design for Lean Sigma, Toll Gate, VAVE & 8D

  • Test & Analyze Defective Product to Root-Cause and Establish Corrective and Preventive Design Solutions with Product Development Engineering
  • Work with Electro-Mechanical Designs (Analog & Digital Circuitry, Embedded Firmware, etc)
  • Ensure Designs Meet Product Requirements & Specifications
  • Manage Validation Test Plans by Working with Test Engineering
  • Document Projects Utilizing Visio, MS Project, SharePoint & LEAN NPD Tools
  • Facilitate and Support Regulatory Testing Requirements and Acceptance Criteria
  • Document Product Designs by Working with EM Designers
  • Compile Quality Reports to
Track Failure Trends Job Requirements:
    BSEE/BSEET
    • General Knowledge with:
    • Analog and Digital Circuit Fundamentals
    • 8/16/32 Bit Microcontrollers
    • Non-Volatile Memory Types, including Flash, Data Flash and EE memory
    • I2C, UART, RS-232/RS485

      Communication Interfaces

    • Embedded Firmware and Software Development
    • Test Equipment used in the
    Development and Testing of Electronic Products:

    Scopes, Logic & Spectrum Analyzers, LCR Meters

    • Proficient with MS Office Suite including MS Project and Altium (or equivalent) a Plus
    • Familiar with
    Regulatory Compliance Standards:

    FCC, UL, CE, RoHS a plus

    • Ability to Work Effectively in a Cross-Functional Team in a Fast-Paced Environment
    • Ability to Work on Multiple Projects Concurrently
