The Opportunity As a Principal Development Product/Test Engineer, you will be an integral part of the development team for new mixed-signal products within our Magnetic Sensor portfolio. You will play a key role in the design, development, and implementation of comprehensive test and characterization solutions for assigned products. This position acts as the central test resource, guiding products through the entire development cycle, from initial concept to high-volume production. You will serve as a key test representative within an interdisciplinary team, ensuring robust and efficient product validation. What You Will Do Design and implement new methodologies to establish product performance and ensure testability. Define comprehensive test and validation plans to achieve target test coverage and optimize test time. Develop, debug, and document complex test software and hardware for Automated Test Equipment (ATE). Participate in new design troubleshooting efforts and provide recommendations to the engineering team. Analyze test and characterization data, including performing statistical analysis to drive improvements. Conduct test program optimization and robustness studies to enhance product quality and manufacturing efficiency. Facilitate knowledge transfer to the manufacturing engineering team for seamless production ramp-up. Analyze results during reliability studies to ensure long-term product performance. Who You Are Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. Seven (7) to ten (10) years of related experience, with a strong focus on IC test engineering. Working knowledge of analog and digital circuit design principles. Proficiency with laboratory equipment for characterization and debug. Experience in software development, ideally with C/C++. Demonstrated experience with Automated Test Equipment (ATE), with a preference for Teradyne ETS. Possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to understand how individual tasks align with larger project and corporate goals. Capable of approaching problems from alternative angles and bringing original ideas to the team.
