Description:

LTE Handset Engineer Required 2-3 years of mobile device testing or development experience including LTE, CDMA, and

IMS. 1-2

years mobile device testing or development experience in VoLTE, e911, Remote Device Management, and Roaming. 2-3 years of experience working with multiple internal teams and driving external vendors in complex projects. 2-3 years of experience coordinating lab and field test. Works proactively and with minimal supervision, manages own time effectively, and maintains control over all projects and responsibilities. Ability to grasp new technologies and react in fast changing environment. Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to work with multidisciplinary teams. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Knowledge of project management and UICC development and validation is a plus. Reports at HQ in Basking Ridge, NJ. No remote option. Occasional travel to labs in the area is required. Qualifications University degree in Electrical Engineering/Computer Science/Telecommunications is required. Responsibilities Lead device testing, manage calls, and submit detailed daily reports. Interface with local Verizon engineers and provide capability for network logging/debug sessions. Analyze log files and provide feedback and recommendations. Process QXDM, XCAL, Wireshark, and Accuver logs using device log post processing software. Filter and propagate reported issues to appropriate internal contact and contacts at the device OEMs Develop and update test plans related to IMS/VoLTE/OMADM/Roaming. ? Provide feedback into the device requirements and test plans based on the findings from the field testing activities. Execute test plans in labs and field.
