Test Engineer, Mindlance Inc. (Union, NJ)
Setup test environment and capture images, run SFR, flatfield, dark thermal etc. tests with specific camera module.
Develop, validate, characterize, and conduct both objective and subjective IQ analyses for imaging systems. Create and implement algorithms for Client metrics.
Collaborate with external vendors and internal teams to conceive, procure, and oversee image quality labs.
Design and build test fixtures to accommodate specific test requirements, such as prototype tester or test chart, with optomechanical components. Design and construct test fixtures tailored to specific testing requirements, such as prototype testers or test charts.
Conduct research, design, and development of tools for test creation and data analysis, utilizing ADB, Matlab, or Python.
Evaluate optical and sensor systems using benchmarking platforms (DXO, Imatest, IQ Analyzer) for comprehensive image quality assessment.
Contribute to testing tool development and automation processes with ADB, Matlab, and Python.
Address and troubleshoot image quality-related issues throughout development cycles.
Debug tester and testing issues.
Support lab activities, such as planning lab space, purchasing lab suppliers, organizing lab equipment, tools etc.
Control test equipment and build test automation.
Create test plan to meet product performance requirement.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field of study.
3 years’ experience in the job offered or related position with similar duties.
Special Skills:
Three (3) years experience required in working with MATLAB and Image Signal Processing (ISP) Where all such experience can be acquired concurrently.
Travel required to unanticipated client locations all over the
United States SALARY:
$126,838/per year including benefits
