Sr. Mechanical Design Engineer Position Available In Monroe, New York

• Develop detailed designs and specifications for mechanical assembly and test equipment, dies/tools, and controls, using SolidWorks Coordinate with and consult other workers to design, lay out, or detail components and systems and to resolve design or other problems.
• Review and analyze specifications, sketches, drawings, ideas, and related data to assess factors affecting component designs and the procedures and instructions to be followed.
• Modify and revise designs to correct operating deficiencies or to reduce production problems.
• Compute mathematical formulas to develop and design detailed specifications for components or machinery using computer-assisted equipment.
• Lay out, draw, and reproduce illustrations for reference manuals and technical publications to describe operation and maintenance of mechanical systems.
• Present proposed design at the internal and customer design reviews Create a Bill of Materials for the design. Print and release drawings and BOM to shop for build.
• Assist in the assembly and debug of the design as needed.

REQUIREMENTS

– Bachelor’s or higher in Mech. Eng. Tech., Mechanical/ Electro Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering- 5 y. exp. as a Mechanical Eng. using SolidWorks, AutoCAD eDrawings, SW Simulation, Linear motion stages, Servo/stepper motors, pneumatic actuators, fluid draw, Robo Studio concept & proposal engineering, Vision System Machine Design, Frame picture analysis,

DFMEA, and MBD GD&TMinimum Salary:
