You will be joining a long-tenured and dynamic small Engineeringteam consisting of 5 members and reporting directly into theEngineering Manager. As a Mechanical Design Engineer you will:
Review customer specifications and create detailed part drawingsfor one-off specials that are based on our standard product line.
Design and develop new mechanical and electro-mechanical productsfrom concept to detailed part drawings, in a timely manner withminimal supervision. Create 3D CAD models and detailed 2D partdrawings using Inventor software package. (may be migrating toSolidworks as well) Select materials and components Perform avariety of related engineering duties (prepare BOM’s, technicaluser manuals, etc) Requirements Self motivated and detail oriented.
Good communication, problem solving and analytical skills. Basicunderstanding of materials and manufacturing processes. Bachelor’sdegree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent engineering / designrelated experience. 5-7 years of Engineering / design experience.
