Process Line Engineer Position Available In Allegheny, Pennsylvania

Mechanical Engineer of Process Lines (metals) We are seeking to hire a Mechanical Engineer of Process Lines for our facility in Pittsburgh, PA. The successful candidate is an engineering professional experienced with designing steel strip process lines, and equipment for continuous galvanizing lines, pickling lines, and other similar process lines for greenfield, and revamp projects. Part of this role encompasses providing support for the Mechanical Engineering dept in multiple projects and proposals, to provide. He or She will assist in equipment selection, studies, calculations, scheduling, and engineering resource estimation during the bid phase, and oversee the team through project execution. Additionally, they will ensure that technical solutions meet technical and customer specifications. Training and mentoring newer personnel, as well as working collaboratively with other organizational stakeholders (sales, PM, procurement, electrical/automation, quality, etc) will be necessary. Will report directly to the Director of Mech. Engineering. International travel, primarily within the NAFTA territories to customer sites, and for company related assignments such as training, anticipated at about 20%.
