If so, this is yourchance to inspire high school students as they begin their journeyinto the automotive field, where they will be prepared to applytechnical knowledge and skills to repair, service, and maintain alltypes of automobiles. Instruction includes brake systems,electrical systems, engine performance, engine repair, suspensionand steering, automatic and manual transmissions and drivetrains,and heating and air conditioning systems.

Qualifications:
A high schooldiploma and a minimum of four (4) years of recent, full-timewage-earning experience in the automotive field (beyond thetraining period) are required. ASE Certification and apost-secondary degree in a related field are preferred. Experienceworking with high school-aged students is highly desirable.
Skills& Competencies:
The ideal candidate will possess the ability todevelop engaging lesson plans and deliver hands-on,competency-based training in a shop/lab environment. They shouldhave up-to-date knowledge of current automotive protocols,diagnostic procedures, tools, and emerging vehicle technologies,including hybrid and electric systems. Proficiency in automotiveterminology and the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear,student-friendly manner are essential. Strong classroom managementand organizational skills are also important, along with patience,adaptability, and a genuine enthusiasm for mentoring high schoolstudents from diverse backgrounds. A commitment to fostering asafe, inclusive, and industry-aligned learning environment is amust.
Work Schedule:
2025-2026 school year start date.
Normalworkday:
Mon. – Fri., 7:30 am to 3:15 pm, 7 ¾ hours. The dayincludes a 30-minute duty free lunch. 10-months (190 days/year).This includes six (6) evening functions per school year equalingthree (3) contractual workdays). Two days per month, there will beup to an additional fifteen (15) minutes added to the workday forfaculty meetings. Why Join our team? PTO Days as follows:

Starting salary is based on experience andthe negotiated professional union salary matrix with annualincreases.
