At LVI, your voice matters-we are a team, and we are a community. About the Role LVI is currently seeking a Project Engineer to join our HVAC department in the Philadelphia office . This role is ideal for a technically proficient and experienced engineer with strong communication, coordination, and leadership skills. The Project Engineer will play a key role in managing client relationships, guiding project execution, and ensuring alignment with financial and design goals. Key Responsibilities Lead HVAC design for tenant fit-out projects and contribute to base building and infrastructure upgrades. Develop riser diagrams, schedules, floor plans, and assist in writing specifications. Establish design criteria and prepare basis of design documentation. Produce complete contract documents, including layouts for equipment rooms, shafts, risers, and closets. Design ancillary systems such as UPS, generators, fuel oil systems, and water reclamation systems. Review shop drawings, respond to RFIs, evaluate contractor change orders, and conduct site visits and punch lists with minimal supervision. Help establish efficient project schedules and resource allocation to meet deadlines. Qualifications 3-6 years of relevant experience Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Strong verbal and written communication skills Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and relevant design software Solid understanding of HVAC systems, applicable codes, and interdisciplinary coordination Familiarity with documentation standards across all project phases (SD, DD, CD, and specifications) What We Offer Hybrid work model with flexibility to work from home and the office Comprehensive benefits package, including 401(k) with employer match Generous PTO, paid parental leave, and inclusive holidays Access to professional development through LVI University Active employee resource groups and volunteer opportunities
