Job Description :

This position is for a Sr. Mechanical Engineer to provide design and support for the Otis Gen3 product.
The position will play a crucial role in maintaining product integrity, evaluating design opportunities, and integrating new component designs into existing systems, while working to meet agreed upon cost and schedule commitments.
Typical responsibilities include sheet metal design, design for installation / manufacturing, implementation, and testing of a wide range of elevator components.
The candidate should have a strong mechanical engineering background with experience in change management and working in a cross functional team environment.

Required Skill Set :

Sound mechanical engineering background (mechanical and system modeling and design, component modeling and design)
Creo / Pro Engineer
Sheet metal design
Experience with Microsoft office, particularly with Project and Excel.
Hands-on testing experience
Strong communications and leadership ability
Elevator field experience preferred but not required
Elevator systems knowledge preferred but not required

Education Qualification :

BS Degree in mechanical engineering degree with 5+ years’ experience
MA/MS degree with 3 to 5+ years’ experience
