Job Description

LabVIEW Test Engineer!! Job Description The successful candidate will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining automated test equipment and systems using commercial instruments. This position requires a blend of administrative and strategic skills, with a focus on software writing and editing. The ideal candidate should be adept at building effective relationships, working in team environments, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Analyze and solve non-routine problems, ensuring thorough understanding and effective solutions. Implement assigned actions as per the manufacturing action plan, including audits, failure analysis, and improvement plans. Collaborate with IT resources to ensure correct operation of test software and data systems based on SQL database servers, including data maintenance as required. Communicate issues to the R D department, submit forms, and mark up documentation updates. Support analysis and continuous improvement of production test yield by identifying root causes and proposing solutions. Assist in technology transfers of test processes across the global supply chain. Contribute to defining test requirements and creating test processes for new products as part of the new product introduction team. Ensure implementation of new test processes and tools according to assigned action plans. Apply problem anticipation and solving techniques effectively, demonstrating strong troubleshooting skills. Utilize training in electronics to analyze electrical schematics. Exhibit mechanical aptitude for disassembling and reassembling various pieces of test equipment using common tools. Essential Skills Experience with NI LabVIEW and TestStand. Proficiency in Microsoft Windows-based PC hardware and software (98, XP, 7, 10). Experience in developing and maintaining automated test equipment using commercial instruments such as NI PXI systems. Experience in an electronic assembly/PCBA manufacturing environment. Knowledge of boundary scan tools such as XJTAG and Corelis. Proficiency with SQL databases. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience using C++ and troubleshooting testing programs. Familiarity with Linux for products in a Windows test environment. Ability to navigate the Windows environment effectively.
