We’re seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to takeownership of the conceptualization and development of heavyequipment products. This role requires a strong R D mindset andthe ability to work collaboratively across engineering,manufacturing, and testing teams. Your innovative design solutionswill shape new equipment and enhance existing lines, supportingprojects from early-stage development through prototyping andproduction.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead mechanical design projectsusing 3D CAD software (SolidWorks preferred) to develop heavyequipment components and assemblies Apply engineering principlescreatively to solve complex mechanical challenges in rugged,real-world environments Collaborate closely with R D,manufacturing, and testing to iterate on designs, troubleshootissues, and optimize for manufacturability and performance Developand maintain detailed technical drawings, specifications, and BOMsSupport prototyping and validation efforts, including hands-onproduct testing and design refinements Drive continuous improvementinitiatives and contribute fresh ideas to product developmentstrategy Ensure compliance with industry standards and safetyregulations
Qualifications:
5-15 years of mechanical designexperience, preferably in heavy equipment, machinery, or industrialproduct development Proficiency with 3D CAD software (SolidWorkshighly preferred) and strong 2D drawing skills Proven track recordof leading R D or product development efforts with tangibleoutcomes Strong problem-solving skills and ability to thinkcreatively and innovatively Experience working closely withmanufacturing and test teams Excellent communication skills andability to thrive in a collaborative, hands-on environment.
