Job Summary:
Responsible for designing and supervising themechanical systems for differentindustries.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and analyze process equipment, including pressure vessels,piping, and stainless steel components. Conduct stress analysis,FEA, and thermal transfer evaluations. Supervise drafting anddesign activities, ensuring adherence to project specifications.
Utilize CAD/design software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, andCodeware for engineering tasks. Apply knowledge of ASME SectionVIII Division 1 and PED codes in design work. Collaborate withcross-functional teams, customers, vendors, and fabricators todeliver project goals. Support equipment assembly, installation,startup, validation, and field service as required. Performintermittent domestic and international travel (2-3 days per trip,with one extended trip per year) to oversee equipment commissioningand support construction.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’sdegree in Mechanical Engineering (required); Professional Engineer(PE) certification is a plus.
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years inmechanical engineering, with a preference for experience in R Dequipment installation, experimental operations, or productionenvironments.
Technical Expertise:
Proficiency in AutoCAD,SolidWorks, Codeware (codeware highly preferred), and MicrosoftOffice Suite (Project, Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint). Knowledgeof chemical processes, electrical instrumentation, and automationsystems. Familiarity with ASME pressure vessel codes and processequipment design.
Skills:
Strong project management, leadership,and communication skills. Collaborative and energetic team playerwith customer interaction experience.
Preferred Attributes:
Experience in stainless steel fabrication, piping, flow systems,heat transfer, instrumentation, and controls. Ability to managemultiple projects and adapt to dynamic client needs.
