Exceptional Compensation Strong CompanyBenefits Great Culture Fast Growing and amazing career potentialJob Details The Project Engineer will be responsible to oversee allengineering and technical aspects of assigned projects to assurethe highest level of accuracy and quality while working with theproject manager and superintendent. Projects primarily in conveyorsystem design and layout Be able to support all structuralcalculations, including kip loadings, column sizing, cover platesizing, beam sizing and base plate sizing and select the correctstructural members. Work with the P.E. for state certified drawingsof all structural and civil drawings. Be able to do performengineering calculations of drives, shafts, cylinders, andbearings. Be able to provide and create ABM’s, Work Orders for theshop and purchasing. Answer all questions from purchasing and theshop regarding the orders. Provide input to drawing development andtechnical support to the engineers working directly for the projectengineer. Must be able to create a working solution to technicalissues in a timely manner. Be able to check drawings or designate achecker within the group to check drawings before sending to theshop or sub-fabrication source. Must be able to provide AutoCADconveyor layouts to meet the customer requirements. Be able tovisit jobsites for meetings and field checks as requested. Assistproject manager and superintendent as needed quoting additionalwork requirements. Maintain updated task list for the project beingworked on and for the engineers working with you on the sameproject.
