Summary:
Seeking a Mechanical/NPD Engineer with expertise in designing mobile track equipment and proficiency in Inventor & Solidworks for a long-term contract role.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering Minimum of 5 years of design experience Proficient in Inventor & Solidworks (version 2020 or newer) Experience designing non-metallic thermal panels and thermoforming Experience with mobile and/or agricultural equipment design
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles
Job Responsibilities:
Initiate and execute the Product Design and Development (PDD) process Participate in product design meetings including material selection, 3D CAD models, and detailed 2D drawings Collaborate with cross-functional project teams from concept to production Conduct design for manufacture assessments to ensure final design supports manufacturing requirements Develop design concepts to meet cost objectives; interface with vendors and suppliers to approve components Administer design history and maintain proper engineering document control processes
