Job Description

Instructor of STEM Programs STEAMUP Academy 8809 Commodity Circle, Orlando, FL 32819 STEAMUP Academy was born out of advanced research and feasibility studies into areas of growth in the educational offering in Orlando, Kissimmee, and Seminole County. This research and data provided a baseboard for our mission, vision, and purpose. STEAMUP Academy is dedicated to providing the encouragement and resources needed to accelerate the education and opportunities of our children. We foster their desire to enter the fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEAM). Providing access, for children of ages 5 to 15 to quality STEAM programs. Encouraging creative learning processes. Demystifying the difficulties associated with pursuing careers in STEAM. Enhancing every child’s ability to think critically and logically.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Use Interpersonal and technology skills for the betterment of the organization. Instructing several technologies as needed to include Robotics, Coding, Mechatronics, 3D Printing, Video Production, Graphic and Industrial Design and so on. Implementing goals using the provided curriculum and ensuring that they complete their projects throughout the week. Responsible for creating an environment that promotes and stimulates program participation. Engage and inspiring youth aged 5-17 in Science and STEM in the community Instructing private lessons on an as-needed basis Understand the curriculum and think of new strategies to make it more successful Working across the team to help as well as learn new things Communicate effectively across the team Design robotic systems from start to finish Create prototypes and work on necessary components Create contents for the company’s social media platforms.

Qualification:

Student pursuing Bachelors or Associate Degree in Engineering Familiar with Arduino, Scratch and Python Strong verbal and written communication Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work well with children Strong work ethic and attention to detail Must be able to prioritize Broad business knowledge Ethical behavior Excellent networking skills Accounting and finance experience Preferred Qualification Pursuing a degree in engineering
