Gpac is working with a client company in NC that is seeking aControls Engineer for their food manufacturing facility! Thiscompany has been around for over 100 years and makes deliciousproducts that are enjoyed by folks around the world!
KeyResponsibilities:
Design, program, and troubleshoot PLC(Programmable Logic Controller) systems, HMI (Human-MachineInterface) panels, and SCADA (Supervisory Control and DataAcquisition) systems. Develop and implement control systemsolutions to improve production efficiency, product quality, andequipment reliability. Lead the integration of new equipment andautomation technologies into existing production lines. Diagnoseand troubleshoot complex electrical, mechanical, andsoftware-related problems in control systems. Oversee theinstallation, commissioning, and validation of new control systemsand equipment upgrades. Train maintenance and production staff onthe operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of control systems.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering,Controls Engineering, Automation, or a related field or equivalentexperience 3 years of experience in controls engineering,preferably in food manufacturing or a similar industry. Proficiencyin programming and troubleshooting PLCs (e.g., Allen-Bradley,Siemens), HMIs, and SCADA systems. Strong knowledge of electricalsystems, robotics, and industrial automation technologies.
Familiarity with advanced manufacturing technologies, such as IIoT(Industrial Internet of Things) and machine learning.
