Welding Inspector Quality Fab Inc Ariton, AL 36311 Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Welding Inspector to join our quality assurance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all welding processes meet industry standards and specifications. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to analyze and interpret data related to welding quality. The Welding Inspector will play a crucial role in maintaining our commitment to excellence in fabrication and quality control. Responsibilities Conduct thorough inspections of welded components using various inspection techniques, including visual inspection and measurement tools. Collect and analyze data related to welding processes to ensure compliance. Perform inspections using calipers and other precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and tolerances. Collaborate with fabrication teams to identify areas for improvement in welding practices. Document inspection results and prepare detailed reports on findings, including any non-conformance issues. Ensure adherence to quality assurance protocols throughout the production process. Experience Proven experience in welding inspection or a related field, with a strong understanding of welding processes and techniques. Familiarity with quality control standards is highly desirable. Proficiency in using inspection tools such as calipers and other measuring tools. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data effectively. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining individual accountability.
