Job Description Job Summary:
Primary role will be to provide NDT support of manufacturing processes (welding, machining, etc.). In addition, they may be required to support the Level III in the development of NDT procedures and techniques, administer training, and certification of NDT personnel.
Programs include:
ASME Section III (Nuclear), Section
VIII, NQA-1, B31.3
fabrication, various AWS Code structures, NAVSEA structures and components, NADCAP NDE (PT & RT), and Fracture Critical Flight Hardware.
Education:
Requires a high school diploma, prefer candidate have a BS degree in a recognized field of engineering or a closely related field of science. Normally requires approximately ten (14) years of applicable professional experience or a combination of graduate study and experience. However, assignments are primarily made on the basis of demonstrated capabilities and reputation in the area of specialization.
Requirements:
Minimum 10 years of experience in AS9100, NADCAP, ASME, or NQA-1 Quality Systems.
Candidate must currently or previously been certified as an
ASNT NDT
Level II in Ultrasonics (UT), Liquid Penetrant (PT), and Visual (VT).
