Job Description:
Responsible for the operation and maintenance of vacuum furnaces, sub-systems, and ancillary equipment.
Performs pyrometric testing and certification of vacuum furnace equipment.
Must-Haves:
Must have an understanding of vacuum system fundamentals and operation.
Experience in thermally processing aerospace materials such as stainless steel, copper, nickel, cobalt alloys, titanium wrought alloys, casting, and components produced via additive manufacturing.
Familiar with pre-process and post-process testing, such as hardness testing.
Familiar with performing vacuum furnace preventive maintenance.
Minimum of 3 years of aerospace vacuum thermal processing experience.
