$42.4K – $60.8K a year 3 days ago Benefits On-the-job training Qualifications Preventative maintenance Mid-level 3 years Full Job Description Varstaff is currenlty searching for the following: Operation and maintenance of vacuum furnaces, sub-systems and ancillary equipment Performance of Pyrometric testing and certification of vacuum furnace equipment. Must have understanding of vacuum system fundamentals and operation. Experience thermally processing aerospace materials such as stainless steel, copper, nickel and cobalt alloys, and titanium wrought alloys, casting, and additive manufacturing. Familiar with pre and post process testing such as hardness testing. Familiar with performing vacuum furnace preventative maintenance. Skills Minimum of 3 years of aerospace vacuum thermal processing experience. Education 2 years technical college – or a minimum of 5 years on the job training working with vacuum heat-treating furnaces.
