- This individual should be a Certified Level II inspector.
They will need to be thoroughly familiar with NDT procedures, customer specifications, work instructions, inspection methods, equipment and techniques to process work. In order to be successful in this job, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. A R E A S O F R E S P O N S I B I L I T Y

Primary Duties and Areas of Responsibility:
Required to pass general, specific, and practical examinations at set interval as specified in NAS410.Responsible for performing, maintaining, and recording scheduled NDT system performance checks.
Responsible for processing and inspecting customer products in accordance with customer requirements.
Responsible for interpreting inspection results to customer acceptance criteria and documenting non conformances found.
Responsible for overseeing and instructing trainees and Level I Inspectors while in training for certification as delegated by the Responsible NDT Level III.Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned based upon the needs of the businessWork safely under functional safety guidelines such as PPE and equipment interaction.
Adheres to quality processes including in-process inspection to ensure compliance with quality specifications.
Preform basic NDT support tasks (staging work, etc.)Responsible for processing and inspecting customer products in accordance with customer requirements.
Ability to take direction from senior Level II and Level III Inspectors.
Ability to operate forklift and hoist.
Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned based upon the needs of the business.

- Required Education and ExperienceHigh School Diploma or GEDBe able to pass an annual eye exam per NAS410.Two years experience as a Level II (NAS 410 certification) in Magnetic Particle and/or Fluorescent Penetrant.
- Required Skills, Competencies and Certifications
- Ability to read and write in English.
The ability to perform basic shop math, fractions, decimals.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret work instructions, technical specifications and acceptance criteria.
Records of past employment and exams.
Ability to effectively present and report non-conformances and findings onto applicable documents.
