This position plays a vital role in ensuring the safety and integrity of critical aircraft components through advanced inspection methods. As an NDT Inspector, you will be responsible for performing non-destructive testing on aircraft components using industry-approved methods. You will inspect for cracks, defects, and material irregularities, ensuring components meet OEM specifications, FAA regulations, and internal quality standards. The role includes interpreting inspection results, preparing detailed reports, maintaining inspection records, and ensuring proper calibration and maintenance of NDT equipment. You will work closely with engineering, quality control, and repair technicians to support root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives. Requirements:
Skills and Education Experience Highschool or GED required Must possess and maintain Level II Certification in Magnetic, Liquid Penetrant Inspections. Eddy Current Inspection (optional) Minimum of 2 years of experience performing NDT inspections, preferably in aerospace or a regulated industry Strong understanding of FAA regulations, OEM specifications, and quality standards Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical manuals, and inspection criteria Must be able to effectively manage and support customer and FAA audits. Excellent communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills with the ability to convey information and ideas in a variety of media, tactful, confident, at all levels, internal and external. Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and observational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Must be proficient in Microsoft tools (Excel, Word ,Outlook, etc.) Must be able to lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods This is a great position for someone who loves challenges, a chance to learn an exciting business, and looking for an opportunity to move up in a successful company.
