00 per hour, depending on experience Job Overview We’re seeking a skilled NDT Inspector to perform nondestructive testing and quality assurance on aircraft components. The role involves using Fluorescent Penetrant (FPI), Magnetic Particle (MPI), Eddy Current, Ultrasonic (UT), and Visual inspection techniques in compliance with customer and regulatory standards. Ideal candidates will have solid documentation skills and strong communication abilities to effectively report inspection outcomes. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Level II Certification in Magnetic Particle (MT) and Liquid Penetrant (PT). NDT Level II certification in at least one applicable discipline. Proven experience in quality/aerospace inspection, especially NDT, ultrasonic inspection, and aerospace standards. Key Responsibilities Perform nondestructive tests to identify flaws or defects using NDT methods. Set up and execute appropriate inspection techniques, ensuring full compliance with safety regulations. Apply testing criteria per relevant specifications and review test results. Communicate inspection findings clearly to team members and stakeholders. Conduct inspections required for part acceptance and document results per practical exam standards. Maintain familiarity with other NDT methods and manufacturing/inspection technologies. Accurately record inspection details using customer-approved forms and tracking systems. Analyze data to diagnose causes and support complex problem-solving. Ensure routine inspection/calibration of NDI equipment as per manufacturer guidelines. Oversee calibration status and upkeep of all inspection tools and aids. Perform Quality Control inspections as needed. (Preferred) Experience with landing gear inspections. Perform other tasks as assigned. Required Certifications & Skills English reading, writing, and communication proficiency.

Certifications in:

MT (Magnetic Particle)

  • Level II PT (Liquid Penetrant)
  • Level II UT (Ultrasonic Testing) Eddy Current Testing NDT classroom and on-the-job (OJT) experience documentation.

Previous Level I, II, or III NDT certifications. Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings; document nonconformances. Good visual acuity and color perception. Availability for overtime, nights, weekends, and holidays. Competence in prepping parts before and after inspection according to work instructions. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
