JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for an NDT Level 2 inspector in Aviation to join our team!

Key Responsibilities :

Perform NDT inspections: Conduct NDT techniques, including but not limited to ultrasonic (UT), magnetic particle (MT), fluorescent penetrant, and eddy current (ET) on aircraft parts and structures.

Interpret Results:

Evaluate test results for indications of flaws or non-conformance, determining their acceptability per applicable standards and procedures.

Documentation and Reporting:

Accurately document inspection findings, prepare detailed reports, and maintain test records in compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.

Compliance and Safety:

Ensure all inspections comply with FAA, EASA, or other relevant aviation authorities’ standards as well as company policies and safety protocols.

Support maintenance teams:

Collaborate with engineers and maintenance personnel to provide technical insights and recommendations for repair, replacement or continued service.

Continuous improvement:

Stay updated on advancements in NDT technology and methodologies, integrating best practices into daily work processes.

Qualifications and Skills :
Certification:

NDT Level 2 certification in accordance with

ASNT SNT-TC-1A, NAS

410 or EN 4179 in applicable methods (e.g., UT, RT, MT, PT, ET). Provide OJT’s.

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in aviation NDT inspections, preferably in a maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) or manufacturing environment.

Knowledge:

Familiarity with aviation standards, codes, and regulations (e.g.

FAA, EASA

). Strong understanding of materials, defects, and damage mechanisms in aviation components.

Technical Proficiency:

Expertise in using NDT equipment and interpreting complex test results. Attention to

Detail:

High level of precision and analytical skills to detect and evaluate anomalies.

Communication skills:

Strong verbal and written communication skills for reporting and team collaboration.

Physical requirements:

Ability to lift and move heavy equipment, work in confined spaces, and adapt to various environmental conditions.

Working conditions:

Work may involve exposure to loud noises, hazardous materials, and varying weather conditions. Must be flexible to work shifts, weekends and overtime as needed.
