Level II Inspector Liburdi 2599 Charlotte Highway, Mooresville, NC 28117
NDE/NDT Level II Inspector Required:
High School graduate or equivalent required Level II Certification of NDT technical program meeting Requirements of
ASNT-TC-1A
is preferred for the following:
- Liquid Penetrant Inspection (Fluorescent)
- at minimum, must have been previously Certified as a Level I and willing to train and acquire Level II Certification
- Ultrasonic Testing
- at minimum, must have been previously Certified as a Level I and willing to train and acquire Level II Certification
- Visual Testing
- at minimum, must have been previously Certified as a Level I and willing to train and acquire Level II Certification Must be able to pass eye examinations required for NDT (correction is permitted).
These tests include J1 visual acuity for all methods, and color blind vision test for some methods Proficient computer skills required for the job Be able to work in an
ISO 9001/AS9100D
environment Strong analytical skills to use data to make operational decisions Able to retrieve information, train and transfer knowledge to team members Demonstrate ability to lead and positively influence others in a team based environment Inspector must be competent in conducting visual and dimensional inspection of welded Components. Inspector must be competent in reading and interpreting drawings, specifications, codes and standards. Inspector must be capable of performing and/or evaluating Non-destructive Examination Testing and project specific requirements. The Inspector must be capable of reporting on all activities. Knowledge related to the inspection of turbine components is a plus.
