Your Role:

Hands-On, Impactful, and Fast-Paced As an NDT/NDE Technician in Raleigh, North Carolina, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and safety of various metal structures. Working closely with experienced staff, you will perform routine metals materials testing services, becoming proficient in the operation and calibration of test equipment and reporting requirements. This position involves engaging in fieldwork, which may include safely climbing steel structures such as buildings, cell phone towers, and water tanks to heights exceeding 200 feet, using fall protection equipment and personal fall arrest systems. This position requires flexibility, with 50+ hour work weeks during peak periods, as well as off-shift and weekend work as needed. Experience in Safety, DDC, NDT, and Radiation Training, including the use of fall protection equipment and personal fall arrest systems, is a plus.

What You’ll Do:

Field Expeditions:

Perform visual inspections of structural steel, including bolted and welded connections.

Testing Gear Maintenance:

Maintain testing equipment in good working order and in calibration.

Training:

Receive training in new technical skills, safety protocols, and other programs.

What We’re Looking For:

A High School Diploma/GED NDT/NDE metals testing experience or an Associate’s degree Vocational training in non-destructive metals testing services, a plus Industry certifications, a plus: ICC certification in Building Inspections and/or Structural Steel Inspection Level II for UT certification Level II for PT, MT certifications What to
