Full Job Description Description:

Assist with leading visual, magnetic particle and dye penetrant examinations in accordance with written procedures while ensuring the health and safety of all associates is protected. Maintain housekeeping and 5-S standards. Champion corporate safety initiatives to cultivate a safe and secure work environment. Knowledge of all production processes and applicable industry standards specifications and procedures. Interprets engineering drawings, schematic diagrams and confers with management to employ appropriate quality codes and standards. Selects products for test at specific stages in the production process, and test products for a variety of qualities including dimensions, performance, and mechanical characteristics. Record test data, applying statistical methods as appropriate. Evaluate data and complete reports to validate or indicate deviations from existing standards. Empower team members by sharing knowledge, encouraging continuous learning, and driving professional growth. Foster a culture of collaboration and accountability within the inspection team to achieve shared goals. Perform all other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead and provide guidance and oversight for any Level I inspection activities as directed.

Requirements:

Proficient in establishing and interpreting inspection techniques, codes, and standards. Strong knowledge of metal fabrication and construction techniques. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to inspire and align team members toward common objectives. At least 3 years of experience working on NAVSEA projects preferred. Ability to evaluate inspection results and guide the team in maintaining accuracy and reliability. Capable of making informed decisions that align with company policies and priorities. Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure. Strong verbal and written skills. U.S. citizenship is required. Ability to make decisions on behalf of the company in accordance with company policies High school diploma with three (3) years of related experience in NDT inspection, examination, or testing activities. Documented training and certifications in VT and MT inspection methods, meeting

ASNT SNT-TC-1A

standards. Experience as a Level I Inspector or equivalent, with progression to Level II responsibilities, including planning inspections and leading teams.
