Experienced or Senior Non Destructive (NDT)

Quality Test Specialist Company:

The Boeing Company Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for an Experienced or Senior Non Destructive Test (NDT) Specialist to support the Quality Team based out of North Charleston, South Carolina. Successful candidates will perform setup for specialized non-destructive test or measurement equipment, develop procedures and processes. NDT specialists perform tests or inspections and collect data. Specialist will provide feedback on adverse trends and tooling support.

Position Responsibilities:

Performs setup for specialized non-destructive test or measurement equipment. Develops procedures and processes. Performs tests or inspections and collects data. Documents, analyzes and communicates results and assists with corrective action recommendations. Provides feedback on adverse trends. Responsible for non-destructive testing and acceptance of repairs to company products. Conducts certification preparation training. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Must be able to work a variable shift Must be able to travel 10% of the time Hold a current NDT Level II certification Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): 3+ years combination of education and experience Certification in Radiation Testing RT) X-Ray Certification in Eddy Current Testing Certification in Radiographic Testing More than 1 year of experience handling and working with radioactive materials and x-ray systems
