Job Summary Millstone Power Station is looking for a Supervisor-Nuclear Engineering. This position will report to the Manager – Site Engineering. The assigned area of responsibility will be associated with supporting Maintenance and Operations, as well as Engineering ownership for various programs. The selected candidate will provide leadership and direction to an Engineering work group to support safe and efficient nuclear power station operation.
The successful candidate will be required to be a member of the Emergency Response Organization.
In addition to leadership of the selected work group, the successful candidate will perform other duties as requested or assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience The knowledge, skills, abilities and education required for entry into this job include the following:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills Knowledge of power plant operations
Ability to organize and manage human resources
7+ years of engineering experience of which at least 1 year shall be nuclear power plant experience. On-site experience to include at least .25 yr.

Shift technical advisor (STA) qualification or Senior reactor operator (SRO license is preferred
Nuclear station engineering experience is highly desired

Demonstrated ability to understand a wide variety of topics and be sufficiently intrusive to ensure all work items under their area of responsibility are produced with the highest of quality and technical accuracy
Education Requirements Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education:
BachelorPreferred Discipline(s): Engineering, Engineering Technology

Education:

Baccalaureate degree in engineering or related science.
Minimum Experience for the position:
Related experience which shall include 4 yrs; Nuclear power plant experience to include 1 yr. On site experience to include .25 yr.
