Job Description

Electrical Engineer – Can work Remote if in CST/EST Job Description Working on client projects involving modifications to existing power generation facilities and plant electrical systems for leading energy providers. This role includes designing, preparing, and integrating major electrical power equipment, conducting engineering calculations, and performing electrical control circuit designs. Responsibilities Participate in the design, preparation, and integration of major electrical power equipment. Prepare engineering calculations and electrical control circuit designs. Perform tests and research problems through various sources of technical information. Design or modify components and determine the intent of specifications/instructions. Make recommendations on the acceptability of materials supplied and work completed by contractors. Provide support to engineering teams on a variety of client projects. Occasionally travel to client and vendor offices for design reviews and to plant site locations for construction coordination and field verification of designs. Skills & Qualifications Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited school. 3 to 7 years of related practical work experience. Self-motivated with strong attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office and CAD Software. Prior nuclear experience is highly desirable. Legal authorization to work permanently in the U.S. without visa sponsorship. Experience in nuclear engineering, calculations, design, and problem-solving.
