PRIMARY PURPOSE OF
POSITIONPerforms advanced technical/engineering problem solving in supportof nuclear plant operations. Responsible for technical decisions.
Possesses excellent knowledge in functional discipline and itspractical application and has detailed knowledge of applicableindustry codes and regulations. Considered a leader within thedepartment.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
Provide in-depthtechnical expertise to develop, manage and implement engineeringanalysis, activities and programs. Provide technical expertise andconsultation through direct involvement to identify and resolveequipment and system problems. Provide complete task management ofengineering issues. Perform engineering tasks as assigned bysupervision applying engineering principles. Accountable for theaccuracy, completeness, and timeliness of work ensuring properconfiguration management and assuring that standard designcriteria, practices, procedures and codes are used in preparationof plans and specifications. Perform independent research, reviews,studies and analyses in support of technical projects and programs.
Recommend new concepts and techniques to improve performance,simplify operations, reduce costs or comply with changes in codesor regulations.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
for Senior E03 Engineer B.S.in Engineering, a minimum 5 years Nuclear experience or relatedengineering experience 7 or more years’ engineering experience and1 year in the Fuels Engineer IIIA Classification IndividualContributor competencies, with demonstration of FLS competencies
