Job Mission
This position supports the Optical Coating Engineering Group through the set up and operation of precision equipment, the evaluation and testing of optical components, and through documenting the procedures and processes for creating optical coatings. Reports to Optical Coating Process and Equipment Manager, works together with Optical Engineering, Manufacturing, D&E, and Industrial Engineering.

Ability to follow all company safety regulations.
Ability to work safely around fragile, high value optics.
Ability to interpret engineering and technical documents.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Knowledge of computer controls and PLC operation.
Basic maintenance and set up of vacuum equipment.
Ability to assist the engineering and production teams with daily tasks.
Ability to identify production and safety issues and communicate them effectively.
