This is a visionary, hands-on leadership role—ideal for a seasoned expert who thrives at the intersection of architecture, innovation, and infrastructure transformation. You will define the long-term roadmap for optical transport, lead cross-functional engineering initiatives, and serve as the technical authority for

Key Responsibilities Define and drive the strategic architecture of the national optical transport network, including long-haul and metro domains. Lead the design and deployment of multi-vendor

DWDM/ROADM/OTN

systems (Nokia 1830 PSS, Ciena 6500). Establish technical standards, design frameworks, and performance benchmarks for transport infrastructure. Serve as the technical escalation point and advisor for complex deployment and operational challenges. Partner with executive leadership, planning, and operations to align transport strategy with business goals. Lead vendor evaluations, technology roadmapping, and next-gen platform adoption. Champion automation, observability, and AI-driven network optimization initiatives. Mentor senior engineers and influence engineering culture across the organization. What You Bring 10+ years of experience in optical transport architecture and engineering, with a focus on national or regional ISP infrastructure. Deep expertise in DWDM, ROADM, OTN, and Layer 1-2 transport protocols. Proven leadership in multi-vendor environments, including Nokia 1830 and Ciena 6500. Strong command of fiber optics, OSNR, dispersion management, and link budget modeling. Experience leading cross-functional engineering teams and mentoring senior

• level talent.

Executive-level communication skills with the ability to influence technical and business stakeholders.
