Transmissions Analyst Responsibilities:
Responsible forfacilitating Project Closeout processes in support of the OperatingCompany’s transmission capital project program. Responsible for regular interaction with various departments amongmultiple organizations including, but not limited to Engineering,Supply Chain, Property Accounting, Project Management,Construction, and Compliance in support of the review andreconciliation of charges against the scope of work completed inorder to closeout the project after it has been placed in service(construction has been completed). Manage the capital project closeout process on behalf of theTransmission Engineering organization in adherence to thetransmission capital Project Closeout management procedure whichincludes: Researching and resolving variances between actuals andestimates. Closing capital projects. Tracking capital project closeout status. Providing business reports and maintaining properdocumentation. Develop and leverage customer-focused relationships with allstakeholders involved in the design and construction oftransmission substation projects.
Transmissions Analyst Requirements:
Two-year degree from a technical school/university with relatedwork experience is a required. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Engineering orEngineering Technology may be preferred. Prior experience managing transmission capital projects ispreferred. Prior experience in transmission substation design and/orconstruction is strongly preferred. Familiarity with substation design, construction, operation and/ormaintenance. Working knowledge of the materials used in the construction oftransmission substation projects. Understanding of substation construction scope, equipment, andassociated costs. Experience with TEAMS (Transmission Estimating and ManagementSystem), Maximo, Vault and/or PowerPlan is preferred. Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office products with theability to manage and analyze large sets of transaction data.
