What You’ll Do:
- + Provides engineering and project management support for distribution underbuild work within transmission projects.
+ Coordinates with the transmission project management team to prioritize and manage project workflows effectively. + Reviews distribution design packages for accuracy, constructability, and compliance with project specifications and standards. + Coordinates field verifications to validate design assumptions and identify potential issues early in the project lifecycle. + Collaborates with Designers and Drafters to ensure timely and complete delivery of design documentation. + Applies technical knowledge to support the preparation of moderately complex designs and calculations. + Supports the discipline’s design development on simple projects and contributes to more complex efforts through technical analysis and coordination. + Communicates project challenges related to scope, cost, schedule, and quality in a timely and professional manner. + Ensures adherence to applicable industry codes, standards, and regulations. + Maintains clear and professional communication with internal stakeholders and project team members. + Interacts with clients on a regular basis.

Minimum Requirements:
- + Bachelor’s degree in engineering from ABET accredited university + 2+ years of experience on the FPL system (distribution or transmission) + Proficient with FPL-specific software: + STORMS WMS (Work Management System) + PUR (Project Update Reporting) + Design Manager + Electric Office + Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Outlook, Word) + Experience with Power BI is a plus
