Senior Substation Engineer [KWT-FL24-ARUK] Position Available In Orange, Florida

Kiewit Engineering Group, Inc., has a position in Orlando, Florida.

Senior Substation Engineer:

•DUTIES•-Provide overall project coordination and engineering oversight on assigned substation projects. Specification development for the procurement, installation, and testing of substation equipment. Apply engineering application software to complete engineering tasks such as ground grid design, equipment sizing, relay coordination, and electrical studies. Communicate and coordinate project activities with project manager, customer representatives, and other stakeholders. Provide technical feedback on the work of substation engineers and substation designers.

This includes working with:

substation design activities including drawing production, calculations and specifications. Ensures quantities and requirements are met; and substation design oversight including identifying solutions for complicated technical issues and QA/QC checks for complex drawing packages, this includes communicating and coordinating with various project stakeholders.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, or related field and 8 years of experience. Also, 5 years of experience stated herein to involve substation design activities including drawing production, calculations and specifications. Ensures quantities and requirements are met. Finally, 5 years of experience stated herein to involve substation design oversight including identifying solutions for complicated technical issues and QA/QC checks for complex drawing packages, this includes communicating and coordinating with various project stakeholders. Professional Engineer (PE) License.
