Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Distribution Engineer with 5 to 10years of expertise in the design, development, and management ofutility distribution systems. This role is essential in ensuringthe reliability, efficiency, and regulatory compliance of systemsdelivering electrical power, water, natural gas, ortelecommunications services. The ideal candidate is a strategicthinker with strong technical knowledge, excellent problem-solvingabilities, and a proactive approach to project execution and systemoptimization.

Key Responsibilities:

System Design:

Develop detaileddesigns and layouts for distribution networks, including powerlines, pipelines, or telecom cables, tailored to projectspecifications and regulatory standards.

Network Optimization:

Enhance the efficiency and reliability of distribution systemsthrough data analysis, modeling, and system planning.

ProjectManagement:

Lead end-to-end project execution—planning, design,implementation, and maintenance—while ensuring timeliness, budgetadherence, and quality delivery.

Regulatory Compliance:

Ensure allsystems meet federal, state, and local safety, environmental, andindustry-specific regulations.

Technical Analysis:

Perform advancedanalysis such as load flow studies, fault analysis, and voltagedrop calculations to guarantee optimal system performance.

SystemUpgrades & Maintenance:

Identify system improvement needs, developupgrade plans, and schedule preventative maintenance to minimizedowntime.

Quality Assurance:

Oversee design and constructionreviews to ensure alignment with engineering standards and bestpractices.

Documentation:

Maintain precise records, schematics, andtechnical documentation for current and historical project work.

Safety Leadership:

Enforce safety protocols to protect fieldpersonnel, clients, and the general public.

Cross-functionalCollaboration:

Work closely with engineering teams, technicians,and project managers to meet technical and operational objectives.

Customer & Stakeholder Support:

Provide expert technical supportand address inquiries related to system functionality andperformance.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree inElectrical Engineering , Civil Engineering , or a related technicaldiscipline 5-10 years of relevant experience in distribution systemdesign and operations Strong working knowledge of distributiondesign tools and engineering software Thorough understanding ofindustry codes, standards, and compliance requirements Provenproject management capabilities, including planning, execution, andbudgeting Excellent written and verbal communication skills Highattention to detail with a strong commitment to safety and qualityAdaptability to evolving technologies and industry advancements
