They need to hire one HMI Engineer to complete design, development,and commissioning of conveyor
HMI/SCADA
systems for UPS. The HMI Engineer will be responsible for the entire projectlifecycle, including concept development, design, programming, FAT,on-site commissioning, and ongoing support for said project. Youwill manage multiple projects and collaborate with variousengineering disciplines, project management, controls engineeringteams, electrical engineering teams, and various customer’sgroups.
Responsibilities:
Designs, modifies, develops, writes, and implements HMI/SCADA/GDUapplications (Indusoft, and Wonderware) Supports and/or installs software applications, operating systems,computer, and networking equipment. Participates in the testing process through test review andanalysis, execution, witnessing, and certification of software. Participates in site commissioning activities. Adheres to standard concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Designs, plans, and coordinates work teams. Provides technical support to project team members. Leads and directs the work of others. Works under the supervision of the Software Manager.
Essential Skills:
Experience with Aveva Edge (formerly Indusoft) or Ignition. Must Have
HMI/SCADA
Software Experience (Factory Talk, FT optix, Wonderware,Indusoft) Knowledge in SCADA, IoT, PLC programming, Python, and VBScript Prefer Material Handling or Parcel UPS project experience It is a very heavy travel role. they can be anywhere close to theeast coast locations where there is an airport for travel.
